Pantos – Past

The Owl and the Pussycat
25th - 27th November 2021
Directed by Amanda Duffin, this was perhaps not a traditional pantomime in the accepted sense, but ‘The Owl and the Pussycat Went to See…’ had all the traditional elements … a hero (albeit a little nervous at times), a heroine (offering comforting support when needed), a disparate group of characters providing comedic relief and a villain. A happy ending ensued and the villain got his comeuppance.

Treasure Island
Thurs 28th Nov, Fri 29th Nov, Sat 30th Nov 2013
"It's a pantomime!
Oh no it isn't!
Oh yes it is!
It's got lots of songs and awful jokes ... True. But it hasn't got a Dame, and it has a proper plot (sort of) taken from a classic novel ...
Oh, well it isn't a pantomime then ... but it's almost a pantomime."
This version of Treasure Island includes a lot of very bloodthirsty women pirates, Billy Bones and his treasure map, Jim Lard (not a spelling mistake), Captain Smollett, Long John Silver (missing an eye, leg and an arm), many jokes and songs. Join us on our daft treasure hunt!
